Creativity and wellbeing at the Aquadrome

Rickmansworth Aquadrome is undoubtedly one of the most cherished outdoors spaces in Three Rivers. People of all ages visit the site daily, to enjoy exercise and recreational activities, to immerse themselves in nature, to meet others and to enhance their wellbeing.

It holds a great importance within the community and people are proud of its natural and social heritage, as are we.
We want to ensure the Aquadrome can be enjoyed sustainably for generations to come, and for this to happen, the relationship between people and the natural environment must be delicately balanced.

Three Rivers District Council are undertaking significant work to restore, improve and safeguard the site, in line with the 2022 – 2027 Rickmansworth Aquadrome Management Plan, with support from external funders.

As our local community, we want you to be a part of this special journey! Whether you’re new to the site or a regular visitor, your involvement and support is key.
This spring and summer, we ran a host of cultural activities for people af all ages, made possible with  The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks  to National Lottery players, we have been able  to offer memorable engagement opportunities, for the community to enjoy.
As well as seeing people learn new skills and enjoy the process of getting creative, we have also seen beautiful results and artworks being produced. They will be shared here soon, so keep checking back!
