Local people are being invited to test their general knowledge in a quiz that will raise money for a Three Rivers Scouts and Guide activity centre and camp site.
The Lees Wood Scout and Guide Activity Centre is the chosen charity to benefit from a quiz night being hosted by the Chair of Three Rivers District Council, Cllr Keith Martin.
Cllr Martin said: “Lees Wood provides such fantastic facilities for young people. We all remember camping trips with our friends when we were young, and those are the wonderful formative experiences that Lees Wood provides today. I am delighted that through this quiz night we will be able to support young people to make memories that will last a lifetime.
“If you think you’ve got good general knowledge, or even if you don’t - come along to my quiz and enjoy a great night out.”
The evening will include a licensed bar, raffle and live music provided by a local band. The event will take place at Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth on 5 March from 6.45pm, tickets cost £15 per person which includes food.
Raffle prizes up for grabs include: a four-ball at Moor Park Golf Club, a family ticket to the Harry Potter tour, two tickets for a Watford FC home game, hairdressing vouchers, dinner bed and breakfast for two at a Mercure hotel, and a meal for two at a Chorleywood restaurant.
