VE/VJ Day 80th Anniversary
The 80th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe) is on Thursday 8 May 2025, marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Later in the year, on 15 August, the UK marks Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day), the day Japan surrendered in 1945, which ended the Second World War.
