Playscheme now open for Summer Holidays bookings

Three Rivers District Council’s Playscheme provides an affordable opportunity for young children in reception to year six to develop their social skills during school holidays. Participants can meet new friends, play games, and try a wide range of different activities. At Playscheme, there are always new and exciting play opportunities, as well as welcoming suggestions from the children.

Councillor Chris Lloyd, lead member for Leisure, said: “The playscheme has been popular among families in Three Rivers for over 25 years. Children can enjoy the holiday periods outdoors, make friends in the area they may not have met otherwise, play familiar and new games, and more. The Playscheme is a good option for the working parents during school holidays”.

The Playscheme is Ofsted registered and playworkers undertake First Aid and Safeguarding training before they work.

In 2024, playscheme will be running every weekday this summer between Monday 29 July - Friday 23 August from 8.30am-5pm at Yorke Mead Primary School. for children in reception to year six.

The prices are set at £30 per day for Three Rivers residents and £35 per day for non-residents.
