Three Rivers Best Quiz Night Ever

“I think one of the best quizzes I have ever attended “commented a resident on Three rivers Chairman Paula Hiscocks’ quiz held at the council chamber on Friday 11 October 2019.

Over 170 people joined-in to enjoy a fun evening led by a much-acclaimed quiz Master Bryan Jukes who gave his services for free.

The raffle prizes were kindly donated by Warner Brothers, Croxley Service Station, Tips and Toes, The Coach and Horses, Rocha dry cleaners, Waitrose, The Fox and Hounds, Louvere hairdressers, Prezzo, Everyone Active and Friends of Watersmeet as well as many individual donors raised over £600.

As always everyone enjoyed the delicious fish and chips from Harry at The Corner Plaice Croxley.

“I feel so proud and grateful to be part of this amazing community who came out to support my two charities CVSS and DEMAND at my charity quiz, we have raised at least £1600. My only disappointment was that my Mayor’s team won the wooden spoons!” said Cllr Hiscocks.
