Win spooktacular prizes in our spooky pumpkin competition

NewsUpdated: 25 October 2023Community and living

Things are getting a bit spooky in Three Rivers, which means Halloween is just around the corner and the council’s pumpkin competition is back.

Three Rivers residents under the age of 16 are urged to get creative this autumn as they are in the chance to win spooktacular prizes if their carved pumpkins can win over the public vote.

To enter all you have to do is decorate your pumpkin, take a photograph and upload it below. There will be two prize winners who will both win a family ticket to the pantomime VIP night at Watersmeet on Friday 15 December 2023 to see a performance of Sleeping Beauty and meet the cast.

Please be safe when carving, seeking help from an adult as appropriate. This includes making sure your hands and tools are dry to help with grip, always cut away from yourself and use small and controlled motions when carving.

Entries must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 31 October. Entries must be made on our engagement platform and must include a photo and email address.

Winners will be selected by public votes on the engagement platform. Voting will open at 5pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023 and will close on Sunday 5 November 2023.
