A heartfelt gathering to commemorate the incredible service and sacrifice of the armed forces will take place at a special Remembrance Day afternoon tea which is being held at this month’s Three Rivers Seniors Forum.

The forum will take place on Monday 11 November at Rickmansworth School to acknowledge and honour the work of the armed forces.

Three Rivers District Council’s Seniors Champion, Cllr Keith Martin, said: "This will be the third successive year that the Seniors Forum will gather in a convivial atmosphere to collectively mark Remembrance Day. All residents are very welcome to join us at Rickmansworth School."

The event will take place between 2:45pm and 4.30pm. Access and parking will be available from 2.30pm, and guests are therefore asked not to arrive before this time. Please note that it will be necessary to be accompanied by a representative from the school whilst on site.

For those travelling by public transport there are bus stops nearby, and free parking will be available at the school for those travelling by car.
