Children in Three Rivers have the chance to explore nature and enjoy outdoor adventures in local woodlands and open spaces as the popular Play Rangers sessions return.

The sessions – operated by Three Rivers District Council – start from Monday 24 February and run during term time. Play Rangers offer a safe environment for children to play freely, build campfires, toast marshmallows, create woodland crafts, climb trees, swing on ropes, and much more.

The sessions are open to children in Year 1 to Year 6. To take part, a Play Ranger Annual Membership is required, costing £5 per child, per year.

Emma Sheridan, the council’s Associate Director for Environment, said: "Play Rangers is a fantastic way for children to enjoy the outdoors, be active, and connect with nature in a fun and safe environment. We’re delighted to welcome them back for another year of exciting adventures."
