New shared space signage introduced at Leavesden Country Park
New signs have been installed in Leavesden Country Park to encourage people and cyclists to navigate with care.
Three Rivers District Council has recently placed shared space signage across the park, which cautions walkers, cyclists and park users when using the shared paths, while promoting active travel.
It also encourages responsible and courteous behaviour and enhancing the park experience.
Kimberley Rowley, Three Rivers District Council’s Head of Regulatory Services, said: “We want to encourage as many people as possible to pick up cycling and enjoy our parks safely and conveniently.
“The shared space signage will help warn walkers and cyclists to take care when on the pathways when enjoying the lovely scenery of Leavesden Country Park.”
Further information on cycling and walking in the district can be found here.
