By-election for Durrants Ward

A by-election is scheduled to be held in the Durrants Ward, in Three Rivers district, following the resignation of a councillor.

The election of a district councillor will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025, and polling hours are 7am to 10pm.

The vacancy has arisen after Jonathon Solomons resigned.

The ward continues to be represented by Cllr Steve Drury and Cllr Chris Lloyd.

On the same day elections are being held for Hertfordshire County Council. For anyone interested in standing for either election, nomination papers must be received in person at the district council's head office Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth by 4pm on Wednesday 2 April 2025; you can contact the council’s elections team at electoral.services@threerivers.gov.uk if you would like to know more.
