People living in South Oxhey who have not yet had both Covid vaccinations are being urged to grab a jab at a pop-up vaccination clinic next week.
The Pfizer vaccination clinic will take place on Thursday 15 July at the Parish Council Hall in Oxhey Drive between 1pm and 7pm and is for anyone aged 18 or over.
Just walk in on the day. No ID is required and it is not necessary to be registered with a GP.
Both first and second jabs are being offered, but anyone attending to get a second dose must have received their first Pfizer dose at least eight weeks before.
The clinic has been organised by Three Rivers District Council in partnership with Herts Valleys CCG, Manor View Practice and Watford Rural Parish Council.
Cllr Sarah Nelmes, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “It’s good news that restrictions are being lifted on 19 July. But cases of the new variants are on the rise and the virus is here to stay. It’s essential we all play our part to protect ourselves and our loved ones, and help stop it spreading further.”
- Just walk in between 1pm and 7pm.
- Location: Watford Rural Parish Council, Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey, Hertfordshire, WD19 7SB.
- Oxhey Jets have kindly donated 10 pairs of tickets for us to give away to people who have their jab at the South Oxhey pop-up vaccination clinic on 15 July. For a chance to win just book in advance or walk in on the day.
