If you intend to vote in person at the polling station you will need to show photo-ID before you are given any ballot papers.

Voters may already have a form of photo ID that is acceptable and can use any of the following:

Passport

Anyone who doesn’t already have an accepted form of photo ID can apply for a free voter ID document, known as a Voter Authority Certificate. The deadline for applications for Voter Authority Certificates to be received by the Council’s Electoral Services Team is 5pm on 26 June 2024.

A by-election for the Three Rivers District Council ward of Rickmansworth Town will take place on 4 July - the same day of the general election - following the resignation of former district councillor David Raw. Voters in that ward will receive two polling cards and those who are registered to vote by post will receive two postal vote packs – these postal vote packs must be completed and returned separately by 10pm on polling day.
