Still time to have your say on council’s five-year housing, homelessness and rough sleeping strategy
There’s still time to have your say on Three Rivers District Council’s renewed five-year housing, homelessness and rough sleeping strategy.
Residents have until Monday 1 January 2024 to comment on the council's strategy that presents the key objectives relating to the delivery of housing and housing-related services in the district until 2028.
This will support the council’s vision of being a district where people and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness have access to good-quality housing, the most vulnerable residents are supported and rough sleeping, or the risk of rough sleeping, is eliminated.
The new draft strategy further strengthens the priorities outlined in the previous strategy whilst planning further support for the new challenges that residents are currently facing, such as the cost-of-living crisis.
Jason Hagland, Strategic Housing Manager at Three Rivers District Council, said: “There’s still time for residents to comment on our renewed five-year housing, homelessness and rough sleeping strategy.
“We believe our draft strategy and our excellent partnerships with key stakeholders will help achieve the best outcomes for our residents; however, we would like as many people as possible to air their views so we can ensure our strategy is the best that it can be.
“Please, have your say by filling out the online consultation, which can be found here.”
