Due to unforeseen circumstances, the drop-in session has been cancelled. A new date will be announced in due course.

The local police have organised a drop-in session at Three Rivers District Council’s head office for residents to air any issues they may have.

To strengthen ties between residents and local law enforcement, the Rickmansworth Neighbourhood Policing Team has organised a one-off Beat Surgery on Tuesday 17 September between 10am to 12pm at Three Rivers House in Northway, Rickmansworth.

This will give residents the chance to air their concerns to officers on crime, anti-social behaviour or any other issues they may have in a relaxed and safe setting. Police officers and officers from the council’s community safety team will be on hand to provide crime prevention advice and answer any policing questions.

The beat surgery will be hosted in the council’s main reception area, and if proven to be beneficial, the drop-in session will be planned for at least once a month.

Niki Philips from the Rickmansworth Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We want to hear what concerns you, so I encourage residents to take advantage of this drop-in session and engage with us and contribute to enhancing community safety.

“We want to connect as many of our residents as possible, and I hope we can host more of these beat surgeries in the future.”

Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: "I welcome this new initiative as a great sign of joint work and am pleased we can offer our facilities to help."
