A jam-packed day of scooter, skate and BMX competitions has taken place at the annual Croxley Skate Jam hosted by ABC Skate and Three Rivers District Council.

More than 100 people turned out on took place on Saturday (3 August) with many sticking around to watch the various competitions and be wowed by the talent and skill on show.

Emma Sheridan, Three Rivers District Council’s Associate Director for Environment, said: “What an amazing day! We have some truly amazing and talented young people. Congratulations to everyone who took part, to ABC Skateboarding for hosting the competitions, to the Leisure Team staff who worked the event and to the Parish Council for sponsoring the prizes.”

Prizes, sponsored by Croxley Green Parish Council, were given out on the day to first, second and third places in the various competitions. The Corner Plaice also provided all entrants and attendees with a Skate Meal Deal which went down well by all who enjoyed it.
