How Three Rivers District Council recycles its organic waste is the focus of a new campaign by Hertfordshire’s Waste Partnership.

The Black Box Cinema tour will showcase a 15-minute short film, produced by WasteAware (the campaigning arm of the partnership), about the problems caused by the wrong rubbish being placed in our organic waste recycling.

Residents can catch the performance at Rickmansworth Festival on 19 and 20 May. The film will be shown every 30 mins throughout the day.

The film follows the private investigator Rex Green as he tries to save the county from compost catastrophe. The performance will feature live actors and video footage. Residents who attend a screening and complete an evaluation form will be entered into a prize draw to win £50 in National Gardening Vouchers.
