NewsUpdated: 2 October 2023Community and living

The Seniors Forum returns to Rickmansworth School on 4 October 2023, where guest speakers from three organisations will address residents about the services provided.

Citizen’s Advice will present on topics specifically relevant to retirees in Three Rivers, Watford & Three Rivers Trust will explain the part it plays in the community, and representatives from the Watford Hospice will talk about their heritage, their recent merger and the services they can provide. In addition, live music entertainment will be provided by pupils from the school.

The forum is organised by Three Rivers District Councillor Keith Martin, who said: “We were delighted to be joined by so many guests at the summer forum and this regular event is proving really popular with the older residents in the district.

"The forum provides an opportunity for residents to come along and meet other members of the community, and be entertained in an informal setting. He added: “The invitation is open to all residents of retirement age to enjoy an afternoon amongst friends which will include great entertainment and interesting talks.”

The forum takes place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday 4 October at Rickmansworth School, Scots Hill, WD3 3AQ. Access and parking will be available from 2.15pm, and guests are therefore asked not to arrive before this time.

For those travelling by public transport there are bus stops close to the school.

Refreshments will be available.
