Results from the district council elections held on 6 May were declared on Sunday 9 May
Results from the district council elections held on Thursday 6 May were declared on Sunday 9 May. Thirteen seats, making up of a third of the council, were contested. The results are as follows, with details of the new composition of the council at the bottom.
The council comprises 39 councillors who represent 13 wards and are divided into the following political groups. The new composition of the council is:
- Liberal Democrat = 23 seats
- Conservative = 11 seats
- Labour = 3 seats
- Independent = 2 seats
