Works will soon begin to upgrade fishing swims (areas) around Batchworth Lake in the Rickmansworth Aquadrome.
Fishing swims A-J, south of the nature reserve, will receive upgrade works, and some will be removed by Three Rivers District Council’s contractor, AquaMaintain, from Monday 10 February until Monday 31 March.
No footpath closures will be in place and the remaining swims and Aquadrome will remain open to the public. Please visit the Aquadrome FAQ page to find out more about fishing at the site.
The plans, which have been funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, have been in consultation with the local fishing club, who have agreed to the final 20 fishing swims to remain.
The upgrade of the fishing swims is part of the wider Rickmansworth Aquadrome Project. Click here to find out more.
